… our firm belief since we started over 20 years ago to present the world of small things to you. When collaborating with Jan Teunen we were talking about »eternal values« – and still believe in these high standards which we transfer into the future by means of innovative products.

Thereby the past with its classical design, such as the watches designed by Max Bill, is connected to present novelties like the Geneva sound system, which has already been depicted as the future of HI-FI in the press. However, even the Max Bill’s watches are being constantly developed according to his and the bill-foundation’s standards represent contemporary automatic watches and table clocks. Standstill does not exist within our collection. Instead, it develops dynamically, offering designers a platform for experiments, which may not always lead to success but always create new perceptions.

Up to 80% of our new products are self-produced today, accompanying the products from their original design idea all the way up to the start of production and introduction to the market. Over 120 licensing contracts which we hold with international designers give proof of our engagement for good design and show our courage to take risks. This clearly distinguishes us from those, who merely deal with already established products. Our love for design is recognised by leading designers around the world, sparking creative collaboration to the advantage of young and emerging designers and collections.

Our collection offers a broad variety – from the standards-setting audio products by Tivoli Audio, often imitated, never duplicated; over our 360° bags, which started the trend towards recycled material, to design-classics like those created by Angelo Mangiarotti. Yet, our products are connected by one common factor: They create traditions, start cultural trends, perform technically as well as emotionally, show formal quality and are equipped with honest aesthetics and authenticity. They are original, significant, produced with care, and convince because they are long-lasting and consistent – they qualify as “eternal values” in times of the search for cultural identity by setting international standards and quality.

The collection covers all spheres of living such as offices enhanced by the umbrella stand Ivy from Emanuela and Carl Magnusson or furniture designed by Eric Pfeiffer. Moreover, the light cubes Lux-us from Max Kistner illuminate living- as well as workspaces. Porcelain by Piet Stockmans redefines tableware and the affectionately designed reading support “Leselotte” from the sisters Angela and Ursula Hartig eases the transition from reading to dreaming. Even emotions and sheer fun of life do not miss out with the Magic Roses, the Christmas stocking from Christian Walmroth or the steely limited edition objects designed by Jesco von Puttkamer.
